Bay Terrace is a purposeful neighborhood — the co-ops, the garden apartments, the well-known shopping center, and the water views out toward Little Bay Park and the Throgs Neck Bridge. The commercial spine is the Bay Terrace Shopping Center itself, but the residential streets north of 26th Avenue tell you what the neighborhood really is: quiet, established, mostly professional and retiree residents who've been here decades. Bay Terrace is technically a five-minute drive from our store, but for locals it's more of a walk than a drive.
For deliveries, this is one of the shortest routes we run. From 42-15 Bell Boulevard the driver takes Bell north to 26th, then east to your building — the whole run is usually done in 10 to 15 minutes. The one thing to know: some Bay Terrace co-op buildings have doorman-style front desks and specific procedures for accepting deliveries. Our drivers know the drill in most of the towers now, but if you're in a co-op that requires the driver to call up, please leave that note in your order and we'll route accordingly.
